The Sea Cadet Corps is a National youth charity based on the traditions of the Royal Navy. The Corps offers young people aged 10 – 18 years old the life skills of team work, self respect and social responsibility. Boys and girls can learn engineering, canoeing, sailing, sports, music, cooking, catering and expedition skills – and gain worthwhile career qualifications along the way. In addition there are opportunities to sails with the corps fleet of yachts and the flagship square rigger “TS Royalist”. In all aspects it is serious fun.
