Neighbourhood beat manager PC Kevin Bennett (Axminster Police) is organising a team for the 10k challenge and is urging people between 16 and 21 to take part. You don’t need to be physically fit to join but you must be prepared to train hard as the challnge involves 2 3km runs and a 4km obstacle course (expect mud). Training every Tuesday evening June 29 to Sunday October 10th. Need to raise at least 40 pounds for the chosen charities. No contact details given – I guess contact Axminster police.

Plans for a youth centre in Seaton have been put forward to town councillors. As part of the project SYNC are asking people to come forward, give their support and help take this forward. Young people are asked to say what they would like in the town. More details from the Facebook page The SYNC Project- Seaton Youth aNd Community or email sophie.oconnell@sky.com
