The Axe estuary has had many guises over the years – a Roman harbour, a Tudor naval base and home to invasiondefences during World War II. Discover the changing character and history of the area on this guided walk. This event is organised with the Seaton Visitor Centre Trust.

Sunday 5 April 14:00 – 16:00 Junior Rangers meet Young Archaeologists Seaton Tourist Information Centre SY 247 901 East Devon Junior Rangers and the Devon Young Archaeologists’ Club are joining forces on this session. They will take core samples of soil from Seaton Marshes and work out what was growing there hundreds of years ago.
