Join a team preparing for the 7 mile Royal Marines Commando Challenge in October. It involves a 2 mile run, a 3 mile obstacle corse then a 2 mile run back to the start and include a notorious “sheep dip” or underwater tunnel. Between 5p.m and 7p.m a chance to “surf, chill, game, read and talk” for 13 -19 year olds.
Applications must be submitted by 15th May but forms are still available on the website below. The first meeting of the Cadets will take place on Wednesday 27th May between 6:30pm – 8:30pm at Colyton Town Hall.
Tues June 2nd, 2:30pm – 5pm, Seaton Town Hall
Tickets: £4 (£2.50 for students). Refreshments will be available.
Following the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival in 2009, ‘Evolution Rocks’, the Seaton Visitor Centre Trust, in conjunction with the Axe Vale and District Conservation Society, have organised a seminar on the same theme.
