East Devon Youth Bank would like to invite you to our informal information evening at Axminster Young People’s Centre, Lyme Road, Axminster, Devon, EX13 5AZ on Monday 30th March between 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

Youth Bank is a unique initiative in which young people are given the power to allocate funding to their peers through the Youth Opportunity Fund and Youth Capital Fund, as well as other ‘pots of money’. Young people can apply for funding for their youth groups/project, which can be spent on improving facilities, opportunities and services within their youth groups.

EDYB invites you and a small group (3 or 4) of your young people to come meet us and find out more about how you can benefit from this exciting opportunity. Our session will give you the opportunity to meet the YouthBank and gain tips and ideas of what you can apply for, how the money is allocated and how you can best meet the criteria, and you can even pick up an allocation form on the night and be given a hand in how to complete it!

We have allocated over £70,000 in the last 18 months to a wide range of projects and groups.

What’s more there will also be the opportunity for your young members to discover (if they wish) how they could become a part of EDYB and become an important factor in deciding where future funding will go to their peers in other youth groups across East Devon.
